There's a difference between conversation and spam...
The Alt, T, V, C gives you exactly the same menu as you get by right-clicking the toolbar, and customize is still disabled. Thanks anyway.

So I just put on the coursework "Sorry, this is impossible on the school computers, but I can do it, honest?!"
I just need to find the key (no pun intended) and then I can sort it.

Well, that one approach I didn't think of!
They can't do anything about it, so I'm told. And the Admins are useless (they've asked me for help before) so there's no danger of them solving it.

For some of our coursework we have to add toolbars and the like to Word. This is very easy in itself, but the school security policy has disabled the "customize" option that you see when you right-click the toolbar, which we need to get to.
It's almost certainly a key stored in the registry somewhere, but I've been Googling for the past hour without any luck. If someone could shed any light on the issue, I'd appreciate it.

I joined because Hyvry1 pointed me towards it, but as I had been reading the forums over his shoulder for quite a while, I had already decided that this seemed to have a better community than most other clans, where the only communication is to do with click-farming or attack orders etc.

Does nobody stay on topic for more than five posts in this forum?!
On topic, it turns out that I'm _exactly_ one year older than Lord Lanair, and _exactly_ two years older than evilknight. And for those who want to work it out, it means that I was born on Friday the 13th!

BPSITE / Geek's Corner / IE Problem

OMFG! I thought I knew all the keystrokes! *bows before Hornet My first laptop was a brick - in every sense - bought for ~20 quid at a car boot sale. It had Windows 3.1 installed, and if you've ever used 3.1 (I'd imagine SS has) you'd have picked up several obscure shortcuts! The "Spacebar" button was visible in 3.1, but you can still get to the functions by using the Alt+Spacebar combination, or clicking the program icon in the title bar. SS, if you can press the X button, then why not press the Alt and spacebar buttons while you're at it, as they're next to each other?

Just tap Alt, Spacebar, X whenever you open a new window. That'll work for almost anything windows-based, and you can do it very quickly with practice.

BPSITE / Arts & Literature / A taste of what you're listening to...

I listen to an immense variety of music, ranging from the Beegees to Linkin Park to Shostakovitch. I'm currently listening to Pavane, which has no lyrics btw. I'll try to find a link to an online copy somewhere. Found one: http://www.classicalmidiconnection.com/cmc/faure.html. They've got an anti-hotlinking script, so you'll have to scroll down to the last block of links, and click on the one by John Cowles to get it. Grab Sicilienne while you're at it - that's good as well. Midi files are nothing like the real thing, but that'll give you an idea of what I'm on about.
