31  The Great Alliance / The Great City / The Bubba Wars have been declared on: February 24, 2004, 03:01:58 AM
I think letting Gixxer in would be beneficial more than harmful.  We aren't at war with them any more, and it could help prevent hard feelings between the alliance which would further fuel evil's pitiful war.  We never talk in there about anything important, cuz it's not secure, and I think after war is the time to be able to talk.  Gixxer seems cool, at least compared to Evil, and if he acts up then we can just kick him again.  What we gonna lose?

Biteme, I meant his attacks on me were so pitiful I didn't even notice this until you posted to attack evil.  Then I came here and saw this.

I put your name out there for newbie players.... who had an SA that was very weak.... most players in our alliance are 2-3 times larger than you and would be wasting their attacks.

Maybe that's because I'm busy tring to manage an alliance and can't spend every minute clicking.

Oh, and LadyofLight.... you were a big part of the last wars with Orc Army, so, we will be sure you don't get forgotten either

LOL  I don't frequent the city and their attacks were so pitiful I didn't even know this was going on till now.

Shows how much we care.  It's not even mentioned in the Fortress.

Gixxer, as of now I can't say we'll never attack again, cuz who knows.  Leadership changes, stuff happens.  But I can tell you we are in no way planning anything against Orc Army.  We started a war cuz that age was boring and it's part of our mission statement that we're against orcs.  It was funning warring you guys.  Not impossible like against LS, but not so easy there's no fun.  You were respectable.  Don't doubt that.  But the age is over, and it'll just hurt both our alliances to war at the start of the age.  We'll keep each other down so to speak, and neither of us want that.  So I say it's a mutual peace for everyone's interest.  We are just participating against EvilTracy cuz he can't seem to let go.  We know it's not from Orc Army as a whole and do not hold you responsible for his actions unless you join him.

Oh, and yes, I have the authority to say so.  Wink

So you admit your alliance is using fake accounts?
35  The Great Alliance / The Great City / TGA SUCKS on: January 15, 2004, 01:39:40 AM
Orc=mutated elves that are no longer what they once were and only know evil and cannot know good.

Dark elf=elf or decendent of elf who never went to valinor (originally, that is) and stayed in middle earth.

At least according to Tolkein.

Trust me.  I am a Lord of the Rings FREAK!!!  I've even read through all of the silmarillion. more than once. plus the middle earth series (12 volumes  Cheesy )

Which really shows that I have no life, much like the rest of this board.  Tongue
36  The Great Alliance / The Great City / For the leader of this alliance league of nations on: December 31, 2003, 05:02:07 AM
Just because our congress was stupid and wouldn't support it even though it was president Wilson's idea when forming treaties after WWI.  But it was a precurser that helped lead to the current United Nations, which still stands.

Well, that sounded like a history lecture...

huh?    Could you rephrase that?
39  BPSITE / Arts & Literature / LOTR on: December 27, 2003, 09:27:31 PM
Yeah, I got the extended edition collector's set the day it came out.  It's pretty awesome.  I haven't calculated it for the TTT edition yet, but I know for the FOTR extended edition there was about 30+ hours of material besides the movie itself.  Absolutely wonderful for the true LOTR geek, but probably a little too much for the casual admirer.  Tongue

*Spoiler(kind of)*

I hadn't heard that the scouring was going back in.  I know other stuff, but I'm not sure about this, cuz when they returned it showed them riding in in all their armour and it was all green and stuff, and it was supposed to be when they got back.  And according to some articles I read and stuff I don't think they ever planned to include it.  Film is just too much of a different genre than a book.  Film watchers never stand for much of a conflict after the main conflict.  It's too 'anticlimatic'.  Yell all you want, but PJ was making a film, not just a memorial to a book, and he made the decisions that made the best film he could, even if it meant changing things from the book.

*End spoiler*

And  I think TTT deviated from the books even more than ROTK did, but that's just me....
40  The Great Alliance / The Great City / covert spies........! on: December 27, 2003, 09:15:05 PM
Never lost more than 12, but my friend lost 100.  Don't ask me how, but he did.
41  The Great Alliance / The Great City / What should i do on: December 27, 2003, 09:12:36 PM
Yeah, don't count on the end of the age.  It almost never happens when the admins say.  It could just as easily be another 2 or 3 months before they're ready.
42  The Great Alliance / The Great City / What should i do on: December 27, 2003, 05:39:23 AM
You'll want to upgrade your spy level quickly to become unsabbable (about 130k-140k CA), otherwise you'll spend a ll this time and effort building good defense/offense only to have it gone in an instant.  Now, you can't just leave the money sitting there to save for the spy level upgrades, so my suggestion is to invest it in weapons, and then sell the weapons when you'd have enough to upgrade.  You have to get unsabbable to stay in the top.

Great way to scare away new members ns! (j/k)

Sound almost as bad as some of the conversations(aka chases) I've been a part of.

Oh, and most 15 year old girls do wear a bra, whether they need it or not is an entirely different story.  But most wear them anyway.  Trust me.  I was one once.
44  The Great Alliance / The Great City / What's your rank? on: December 22, 2003, 07:49:09 AM
Well, it's just being stuck sooo close to being in the top 500 that bothers me.

I find its worth the training.  True, tbg goes down, but more farms are opened to you as well.
