what do you think of the KoC php coding? Well according to the website this was their first PHP project, and it is kinda really obviously blatant that this is true.  |

Why ColdFusion? Because out of CF, PHP and ASP it is the easiest and quickest to use, and scales very well. It does all the ugly code behind the scenes (unlike PHP & ASP) and doesn't make your pages look all cut up, because it uses tag-based syntax for everything, but still gives you the option of CFScript if you want to. It's also got the best name.  The only real downside is that it can be expensive, whilst PHP and ASP are free. Ri'than lian is being done in Delphi, which I prefer over C++ for similar reasons as I prefer CF to PHP.  |

Haven't registered on Avlis yet... wanted to try single player to get used to the interface, which I did... except... are you supposed to die so easily, or do I just suck or something? After all this training I've got I seem to spend a lot of time standing doing nothing in fights. :miffed:

I can count on one finger the number of games which have matched the hype... I can also count on one finger the number of games I think will live up to the hype... although I can count upto three on one finger, which is just as well, because there are three games I'm talking about: Unreal Tournament 2003, Deus Ex 2 and STALKER: Oblivion Lost. UT2003 being worthy of what it aimed for, DX2 and STALKER being games which I think will succeed. I'm also tentatively confident that Half-Life 2 might do well, although this hinges on one key point which I cannot know the answer to, but logic sways in favour of it being true, so I suppose HL2 can be added to that list.
Anyway, back to Neverwinter Nights... never played it, seen some screenshots though, and it looks interesting. I will get it at some stage. Mainly so I can help where I can with The Dune Mod, but I'll also play the main game as it'd be a waste not to.
Oh yes, mods, I just mentioned one of those... the best one of those, being a Dune modification of the engine which is going to be really great... well it better be or I'm planning to send a swarm of killer guinea pigs to nibble Auron to death, because he's doing most of the work for it.
I'm rambling on a bit, I should probably stop now. :sleep:

I play Quake3 (CTF) in 3 european leagues and have disabled most of the fancy stuff in it,
i don't care about the nice graphics, just want to see my enemy's as clear as possible Bah, that's as bad as cheating! You may as well go play Pong. :hmmm: |
