(This one's actually useful, unlike the tragedy that was Wave)

I have a GeForce GTX 285M in my notebook* and it works well enough - can play anything I've thrown at it on high quality settings.

Er... not that I've thrown a great deal at it recently.
I mean, Minecraft is the newest game it has seen, which doesn't exactly challenge it.

But it runs UT3, STALKER, Mount & Blade, Fallout 3 all with no problems.


( *It's not a laptop because it's over 5KG and would flatten your lap. )

Didn't bother using it for long - as I said before, it had potential, but certainly feels like Google let it die - I'm not even sure how much they intended to keep it alive from the outset actually; may well have always just been a test bed for certain features.

Still, at least the various bits of technology are out there ... the potential is still there ... just needs someone capable of putting the right bits together.
