I don't know how to use XP (mostly because I'm using 98), but where do you turn on the firewall? I have McAfee v-scan, I have it set to scan any and all created, copied/moved files hehehe, the last time I used Norton, it thought part of my OS was a virus. warning virus Windows 95 detected LOL (that shows how long it's been since I've used norton...win95)

I told him to use ad-aware, the thing is that he doesn't know how to use ir or his v-scan. he's also behind a router, does that mean he doesn't need a firewall?
I don't know how to use firewalls. they seem to just get in my way...

My friends figured it’d be better to just back everything up and format his hard drive. Just to get all the crap out of there, like: corrupt files, unused registry entries, files from games long since “uninstalled”, and whatever ad-ware, spy-ware, or worms (very very few viruses out there anymore) he might have gotten from his extensive downloading and web surfing practices.

do you think it's for the server problems, they're trying to make up for it? or it's just that, a quirk with the system
I'm telling you, it's microsoft... <_< oh and to answer your question, no, I don't really pay attention to my unit production (my army size changes too much to tell)

*crack crackle pop* oh ya, I'm my own chiropractor, I just wish I could give my self a back massage. I can just about reach all the way, but it’s really hard to relax when doing it.
I find it odd, a friend of mine was saying something his computer having similar symptoms as yours (no, not chest and back pain). He said he got some casino game icons in his desktop…and that his computer and internet were running slow, as if some other demanding program were running and using his connection…

The last idea is a good one, but I think it was fated to fail. I mean, KoC just can't work for long periods- it needs to fail once and awhile. ^_^ they must be running a microsoft OS <_<

for both NS and Red better to be safe then sorry (boy scouts - "be prepared, s*** happens" my personal modification) Ns, better to get it done now even if it isn't going to happen for a while (I too have no idea when Age3 starts, but all the perpetrations other alliances are doing is scary) Red, more is better, the worst thing that could happen with having a higher CA, is your higher in rank

hehehe, I didn't get that much TBG either, and I don't watch my attack turns (1500 something). It was TBG that I got from before the problems started, before I logged on

I went through: The Dark Elf Trilogy, Icewinddale Trilogy, and Legacy of the Drow this summer. I've never read so much in my life. I want to know other books like that. character development, yay. but right now I'm reading The Reivers (it's for school though)

ok fine, they are better then the old ones. better meaning that they work more often then they aren't. they also let me strugle with trying to load a page and give you db errors when I really want to spend my TBG.

Dr. TCP, said that my "Tcp Recaive Window" or RWIN, is sat to 256960.... umm... defalt for my OS is 8760, and for XP it's 17520... so I'm way off
my TTL was low too...I don't even know what Time To Live is good for...
one good thing was that my MTU was right, which is good because I don't know what it should be any ways
