I just don't like all the low-blow jokes; they're too simple.  Most of which are on topics that bring back vivid memories of heated "discussions" in school... <_<  But true, I can't say all stand up comedians are bad, it’s just too much of a generalization

Sorry, but yes, being drunk would probably help
I never particularly cared for comedian type things, umm, stand up, oh that's it, stand up comedians

Thanx SS, umm, and are the books after that first one ready so bad that they shouldn’t be read?
 :sheep:
/me wiggles with anticipation for me to have enough free time to read some good books (and other fun things) :hehe:

The most and fastest I’ve gone through books was last summer; three trilogies in about a month… That only happens when I have a lot of time, and it’s a good book.
Question:  Wheel of Time and The Eye of the World aren’t written like Dune right?  That was really a hard book for me to get through, the author went on and on about this one room, and Paul didn’t even do anything in there.  It’s great and all to have a vision and to describe it, but to take several pages to do so…

Ah yes, I remembered one of the really big reasons I did not join relentless.  When I was reading their forum (or KOC’s), there was this problem they were having.  This one guy wanted to make the thread, just to have the first post, but he was too slow.  After someone else had started the thread, he was ass hurt, and was whiny about.  That was a major turn-off, he was supposed to be one of the main guys, and was acting like some spoiled little fish about something as little as not getting first post.  I went strait back the ‘Round Table’ and found a new alliance to take a look at, and thus I came to TGA.

I’m not sure what are good books or not, so I’m posting to get some suggestions.  I like character development, and plot mostly…I’ve already read R.A. Salvatore’s Drizzt series, maybe some of the like would be good.  Like a said, I really don’t know…

LOL  LOL dude Thamior!! Hehe, the highlight of this morning
Underruler, Rug is one of the head guys mostly in the forum, a law enforcement sort of guy.  There are others, and I'm sure you'll learn them in time.  Oh, and your 'newbie' title will go away in a few posts, don't take it personally (it’s better then ‘asshat’)
1393  The Great Alliance / The Great City / What's your motive on: November 24, 2003, 09:25:51 PM
heh, and to think that I was going to join relentless due to effectiveness and drive.  But then I saw it was nothing more then stepping on people that are new to the game, and cheap tricks like having lots of accounts... those are the exact people I don't like, so I came here. Cheesy good dissection. yes yes.

[Reminiscing]
In high school someone started playing KOC and would tell us about it and a bunch of us just looked over his shoulder.  When we saw what it was, we figured it’d be a little something for us to do during our lunch break.  We weren’t really an alliance, but when someone got hit hard, we called it rape; we would start attacking back in mass.  We even kept a list of ID numbers in our agendas, of people that were good farms, or rapeable, as we called it.  But this is where we sort’a lost interest.  Things stopped being realistic, having more weapons then solders and still having them count, and attacking people with little or no defense killed hundreds of your soldiers, and exedra.  Game play slowed, and they stopped playing.
[/flapping my lip]
[Actual answer to question]
Then I joined TGA, because there really isn’t much purpose in the game when you don’t have anyone to gossip with about the game, and to strategize with.  That’s why I was pushing for Age3 plans so much, it’s more fun to be more organized, and much more beneficial for the alliance.  Heck, the organizing might be more fun then the game at times. Tongue

Crap.  How does this happen?  I end up with long posts…it much be all the writing assignments I get, :hmmm:  and all the filler and BS I put in them. Tongue

Whole built computers
*cringe*
If it does what you need it to do, then it’s fine.  NWN is a demanding game, you don’t need state of the art hardware, but 4 years old wouldn’t work well even if it were state of the art in its time (which no whole built computer would be, except for maybe Alienware computers)
