I had trouble sleeping from having a Final and the convention at the same time.  I think the Final went well, but I still lost half a day of the convention because of it :hmmm: And my cousin and her friend had fun at the con also :evil grin: *adding more fangirls to the mix* :eviler grin:

It came at a price though; I had to protect them from homeless people (I don't like downtown for this reason  :hmmm: ) and from desperate (and bold) fan boys looking for.. I shall phrase it, "physical contact" <_<

Work and make money
Revise for my last Media exam (13th June)
Receive flying colourful exam results
Um, er...

Eh. It looks like I'll have to spend most of my time playing computer games, doing origami, and making balloon animals.

Hello everyone, by the way.   :)

computer games Vs. origami and balloon animals  (majorly different)
I also don't think that origami and balloon animals would go well together.  I mean the balloon animals would get killed by the ninja origami cranes.

Sort of, yes - we met online years ago, and have been following each other around ever since.  We both use the same proxy, hence the IPs.

I was unaware that "Louise", regardless of spelling, could be a girl's name; well.. unless you spell it "Lisa", or "Gabrielle".  You might want to turn off your web cam, because Wiki was somehow about to tell me that you’re a girl  O_O

Wow, Louise can even use two quotes in the same post (took me a long while to be able to do that)

It's still two syllables.

'Loo-ese' or 'Loo-is'. (Pronounciationally speaking.)

I don’t know what game I’ll be working on, I’m still in training.  Though I think I’ll be working on one of the Sims games.  They have a lot of those, so it’s not much of a surprise.

Quote
And how's the portakabin?
Like wise, I don’t know about the portakabins yet, because the training is going on in a different area from where the actual testing takes place.  On that note, I must say that the cubes I’ve seen so far don’t look too bad.  I’m going to guess that they are ten feet squared and each one has three stations in it.  We’ll be close together, but it’s not like we’re going to have trouble not nudging each other while working.

Anaemic. (http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=anemic&gwp=13)

And you're almost right about the kumkuats. It would be an incorrect spelling, if I was referring to normal, everyday kumquats that looked like this (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/82/Kumquat.jpeg). However, my special strand of giant mutant killer kumquats, are cool enough to be spelt with two 'k's.

:alien:  <--- killer kumkuat.

:sheep:  <--- killer kumkuat in kamouflage.

Apparently you shouldn't feed too many sunflower seeds to rats, as they contain a lot of fat - I'm not sure if the same applies to mice.

Try the classic crisps, chips, or even pork scratchings.  Although beware the salt on the latter.

Why do you want to gain weight, though?  Given modern food production methods, all you need to do is walk into a supermarket and you start automatically putting on weight.

i don't think that's just british airline food? everywhere i've flown from/to the airline food was horrible...
you better take a whole lot of cookies with you if you have a long flight ahead

and 50 kg? that's not healthy... but i got the solution for you, just start drinking a lot  :D
i'm 183 and was 55 kg before i went to university and living on myself with a cheap drinking place/club and i was around 70kg within a year and stayed about that for a year now, and it's not like i've been eating different or something

Alcohol actually contains a lot of energy, so that would makes sense.  Also high sugar levels too, for that matter.

but well there's lots of different foods with alcohol in it (bonbons, deserts) and of course you can inhale alcohol if you set a drink with a high percentage on fire, don't let the gasses get away and inhale it, you should try sometime  :)  it gets to your head a lot quicker, but well it actually is a waste of the (expensive) drink...

On a recent waitressing job, I cleared away so many half-full glasses that I could have become well and truly sloshed just by breathing too much.

(However, you never know where those people have _been_, so I was careful not to ingest any fumes from glasses they had previously been using.) I did, however, have some rather expensive free orange juice.  :)

Hornet - if orange juice isn't your thing, they were giving away some very nice bath bombs to the female guests, so some of the waitresses snagged some of them. I ended up with one that has little floral bits in it.  :)

Title: SUMMER summer time!
Post by: Louise on July 11, 2006, 02:09:48 AM
Which? The patting smi or the talking to Hornet about baths?

I'll answer both, just in case. Hornet doesn't have to worry about being seduced into a bath with floral bits, as I'm sure he realises - floral bath bombs are only used on very special occasions, and definitely not on first dates. (Not if the girl has any class, anyway.) And smi was not passed at all - otherwise it would have been a wave.

Title: SUMMER summer time!

I was making a joke, sorry. As in, if you move your hand forward, it's a pat - but if it's switched sideways to _pass_ the recipient, then you're waving at them. See? Bad pun.   :hehe:
