Title: Todays weather
Post by: mole on November 25, 2005, 06:39:53 PM
snow....SNOW?!?!

we dont get snow in the UK! especially not in november wtf is going on? some serious global de-warming

Title: Todays weather
Post by: SS on November 25, 2005, 08:17:08 PM
Isn't it because global warming is destabilising the atlantic currents, and the day after tomorrow we're all going to be instantly frozen by a supersonic wave of ice rushing down from the arctic?

yes, but you still shouldn't be the one to complain...we always get snow, and there's a point where you just start to hate it (usually comes around a bit before christmas, sometimes january if we're lucky)

Always seems like I'm the only one that still get's excited over snow. Playing in it, shoveling it, running away from it.  It's all good

Title: Todays weather
Post by: Lord Lanair on November 29, 2005, 07:48:23 AM
Well, shoveling is kinda fun if it's totally optional, and it doesn't matter if you miss spots...

I'm ussually required to help dig out the driveway and a couple cars but I still get a kick out of it.

depending on the day i had/how i am feeling shoveling is a goood activity. unless of course the wind is blowing against the direction in which you are tossing the snow <_<

but i never get excited about it :P

It's now officially December, and I can't believe there's no snow on the ground around here!  I went to college in upstate NY for a reason, you know!  <_<

He was like you and claimed Corns wasn't in, even though I blatantly fuckin' saw him? Only he went through with it? =p.

Title: Todays weather
Post by: smi256 on December 01, 2005, 10:04:33 PM
It's been very windy today.  That would be fine, but the light sprinkling makes driving sort of difficult
It doesn't help that I also need new windshield wipers.

Title: Todays weather
Post by: underruler on December 02, 2005, 05:03:36 AM
OMG it was raining all day, and my pants got wet.  Something about cold weather makes me extra hungry, and they made a law saying that if you have your windshield wipers on then you have to turn on your lights otherwise you get a $500 fine.

Title: Todays weather
Post by: Saladin on December 02, 2005, 08:23:38 AM
what logic is that?

Title: Todays weather
Post by: smi256 on December 02, 2005, 09:13:51 AM
My guesses of what you’re referring to:

1)The rain can be depressing, and eating is a form of comfort.

2) When it’s raining, it’s difficult to see other cars.  The idea is that if your lights are on, you can be seen more easily.

We disappeared into the ether, due to our IT teacher not being in, and TCP being a free lesson with more limits. Do elaborate, though =p.

Hmm... I wish I had your problem.  However, when you get a 12-14 foot tree, space isn't much of an issue (but putting the damn thing up is)!
