snow....SNOW?!?!

we dont get snow in the UK! especially not in november wtf is going on? some serious global de-warming

Isn't it because global warming is destabilising the atlantic currents, and the day after tomorrow we're all going to be instantly frozen by a supersonic wave of ice rushing down from the arctic?

Snow is fun, and can help make good photographs, but it's also COLD :(

I've never seen snow except for on TV. :/

over here in syracuse, we've had snow for the past couple weeks, and it's less than 25 degrees out  :hmmm:

thats usually here in MN too, but we've been lucky..until today, we got a ton of snow :/

I wasn't in cause I had personal study + frees + Miss Ghali, that meant no work all day, so saved myself £2 and got to enjoy the weather.

saved your parents 2 pounds? yesturday was great we had a snow fight for an hour with a bunch of year 12 girls then just messed around all day followed by playing with molecule models in chem which is always fun

yes, but you still shouldn't be the one to complain...we always get snow, and there's a point where you just start to hate it (usually comes around a bit before christmas, sometimes january if we're lucky)

im sure i suggested it last year buit ill do it again, just stick it on a boat and ship it over here well have it

Always seems like I'm the only one that still get's excited over snow. Playing in it, shoveling it, running away from it.  It's all good

Well, shoveling is kinda fun if it's totally optional, and it doesn't matter if you miss spots...  :unsure:  

I'm ussually required to help dig out the driveway and a couple cars but I still get a kick out of it.

actually, we had a record high temperature for today of 67 degrees, so yay! :D

depending on the day i had/how i am feeling shoveling is a goood activity. unless of course the wind is blowing against the direction in which you are tossing the snow <_<

but i never get excited about it :P  

we get excited over snow cus we rarely get to see it

It's now officially December, and I can't believe there's no snow on the ground around here!  I went to college in upstate NY for a reason, you know!  <_<

It's been very windy today.  That would be fine, but the light sprinkling makes driving sort of difficult
It doesn't help that I also need new windshield wipers.

OMG it was raining all day, and my pants got wet.  Something about cold weather makes me extra hungry, and they made a law saying that if you have your windshield wipers on then you have to turn on your lights otherwise you get a $500 fine.

what logic is that?

My guesses of what you’re referring to:

1)The rain can be depressing, and eating is a form of comfort.

2) When it’s raining, it’s difficult to see other cars.  The idea is that if your lights are on, you can be seen more easily.

i walked passed corns' classroom on my way out of school so i kinda figured he was in.


where did you 2 go today? you missed the most awesome TCP, free lesson and lunch ever

We disappeared into the ether, due to our IT teacher not being in, and TCP being a free lesson with more limits. Do elaborate, though =p.

yea, we unpacked the chairs for the new room, and we were left with 15 or so human sized boxes :devil: so we cut eye holes and arm holes, drew faces on them and just messed around for 3 hours

The weather was good today and so we went and got our xmas tree :D  

I have a plastic tree.  (It was also a good day today, but now I have to do my homework :( )

we have a tree thats going to be too big for our new house (lower ceilings) its going to be interesting decorating

haha, I think we have too many ornamates for the tree.  I don't think I know how to spell ornaments.

Hmm... I wish I had your problem.  However, when you get a 12-14 foot tree, space isn't much of an issue (but putting the damn thing up is)!  :rolleyes:

we had to generate it for a process we were doing, but i generated too much and it came out of the fume cuboard and i got a mouthful of it

I had to take my sweater off when I was outside.  I also turned on the AC when I was in my car.  California baby :cool:

Today's high....something around 29. No snow yet though.

But they're calling for a quarter inch of ice tonight, so probably no school tomorrow anyways.

things are so messed up this year. as i came in i realised that the pansies by my doorstep are still in flower

Ben mentioned that, up in Oxford, every tree had most of it's leaves, until it snowed a few weeks back.. then they all fell off at once. Fucking seasons.

though all the flowers came out before spring started this year
