Some stuff while I was away: I ended getting DSL, so I had to set up stuff (cuz I had dial-up before. Incase you forgot) I ended up having to learn to setup routers, and found out that the one I got didn’t do what I wanted it to do (like port forwarding and withstanding 200 simultaneous connections, and not burnout). I also formatted my computer because it had been a long time and it was starting to die [Scan disk report] 3 invalid directory entries were removed 4 directory entries’ FAT chains were truncated 21 invalid directory entries were corrected 2 crosslinks were corrected 931 lost clusters were saved as files [/Scan disk report] :o I have no clue how the stupid thing was even working with all that. As it was, the computer hadn’t been able to shutdown for a few months… :unsure: Anyway, the whole formatting thing is still taking place. I can’t seem to get some internet stuff to work [Note] I learned something :ph34r: It’s important to let svchost.exe have access to internet on UDP port 53. if you don’t… well without DNS (that’s what UDP port 53 is BTW), you can’t access the internet… [/Note] But ya, in all the crap that’s been going on with my computer, I lost my bookmarks, so I had no easy way of finding this forum gain.
