Title: Getting gold when attacking
Post by: hixcks on September 22, 2003, 11:47:40 AM

I definitivly don't understand how it works.
I attack a guy who did the same last night . This poor guy has DA : 20 .
I made him  70,316 damage. He made me 10,000. I take him 11000 Gold .

I attack another one (a guy with I have many fights each other, may be a new friend  LOL )
I made fim 70000 damage , I made me 63000. I take him 125000 Gold.

The two guys have around the same amount of gold before I attacked them .

So how it works ?? :hehe:

If age 1 rules still apply, then the closer your attack is to the def of the foe, the more money you get.

Ok.. So the most risk you take, the most you earn.
I thought it worked with ranks ....
So I have to find someone with a poor defence as my poor attack.

I'll try and give you a feedback.

Thanks.

<_< I think its another system now . it has not much to do with damage but with the amount of soldiers you have.
example
warrior1  500soldiers  100.000 gold  1.000 DA
warrior2  25 soldiers    100.000gold   1.000 DA

you will steal almost all of warrior1's gold and almost nothing from warrior2.

also this, YOUR amount of soldiers matters too. if you have 100 soldiers you won't win money if you attack someone with 50 soldiers
but, if you have 25 soldiers you will win a alot of his money

Thats what I think

In fact this is exactly how it works ndsap. As correctly stated the bigger the difference between your army and the one of the guy u attack the more gold u steal.
Try to attack people who have at least 125% of your army.

Actually, I suggested the man-theory when age 2 started. Everyone shot it down and said: No Filran. You're wrong.

And I hate tested it too. And they said no.

Hate-tested?  You mean have tested it, right?

Point out one more typo, and I fill your mouth with water, than shove a wet knotted cloth in your mouth.

You swallow, and you swallow that knot. Then the next. Then when only a little bit is left, I pull it out, ruining your throat, and probably choking you.

shouldn't that the technically be " and I'll ", not " and I "  ?   ;)

No. Because I talk in a different mannerism. I'll is for something I am sure to do. I is a possibility when speaking of doing something, or talking about how you'll do something.

"I fill your mouth with water," Stating that I, fill the mouth with water. I'll fill your mouth with water states I'm going to do it to him anyway, which, I am not, so no typo. :P

These are the things that affect the amount you get from what I've found:

1) the size of the foe's army... the bigger they are, the harder they fall

2) The amount of money they have... the bigger the wallet is, the faster it falls

3) how much dammage you do of your max... the bigger you are, the harder you kick them (as we all know, the damage you do varies from time to time... the more you do with given amount of weapons the more money you get)

4) the more damage the enemy does... the.. ehhh... nope no idea

3+4 = if you do more damage and the enemy (or should i say victim? :D ) does more damag, you get more money...

This is how i choose who to attack:

# Soldiers           Min cash (X1000 gold)
200 or more            200
150-200                  300
100-150                  400
70-100                     500
40-70                      600

this will almost always gurantee at least 10K per attack turn (that is if the Min cash is what left after the attack)

The basic rule for attacks is the enemy soldiers, a victim with a big army gives a lot off gold

Actually, may would be used to indicate possibility, and will indicates intention.

So, I may fill your mouth with water would have been more correct.

I say that since it's Filran we're talking about, we have to ignore the grammar.  LOL

i've got 95 elves, and i attacked an orc with 600, my attack was about 160k, and his was about 50k. would this orc be a good farm? or does the counter-strike thing make it not worth it. i'm new and trying to find a farm or two, or 3.

Actually, I'm considered to be on of the best writers in my school. XD I almost never have grammer mistakes, though my misspelling it out the roof.

And on the may thing, I never said I had intent, or would do it. It was more of a threat/explination.

As i count it must give over 200k with 15 attacks.
So consider it as a good farm but beware, farms some times turns crazy :alien:
