an other thing Armstrong has as an advantage is that he and his team focus on the tour the france and the tour only, he hardly ever shows his face on other matches, he prepares the whole year on the tour, where others have to appear in a lot of other courses...

and i don't think he won a tour before he had cancer?

they are/were ready... it just died a few hours after they started it, but they say that that's because of server problems and not the game/coding part should be up soonish

as i said he hasn't done anything illegal as he is allowed to take hormones... but off course you can vary the doses a bit, it clearly is an advantage he has above others

well portugal thought they were going to win the tournament and they were favourites (together with france and cech republic) the greece on the other hand only booked their hotel for as long as the poule matches took place LOL
it would be so much fun if they won, and it'd make all supposed 'top' countries look stupid and not just every country except portugal  

greece isn't about the players, i'm quite confident that we'll never hear of most of them again (they won't become stars suddenly...) it's the team, the spirit, the mentality, the underdog position and the coach that'll make them champions (i think...) as far as i know a host country never became champion, but well... they allmost allways got knocked out in the semi finals, and portugal knocked us out there... as everybody knows, there's cheating, lies and there are statistics (or something like that...)

hmmm well there's allways some rivalry between the dutch and the germans... and then there's more hate from the dutch towards the germans then vice versa must be a war thing and all they do is shout and invade our beaches to dig holes everywhere... (sumthing like the US vs. the french)

and the one ball thing, it actually does help him being that good, cause because of it he can get away with taking hormones (he has to take them) where others aren't allowed to take them... nobody ever mentions that <_<

i don't see england winning a big tournament anytime soon tho, there are allmost no players outside your own (very good) competition, so they're only used to the 'english' style of playing football, they're not diverse enough

i believe Indurain and Merckx and mebbe some other guy won 5...

but i think Ullrich may make it hard for Armstrong... i like the way he prepares for the tour just beer and be fat the whole year and start training at the last moment and still compete for the first places :cool:
too bad he's german, but otherwise i'd root for him

i had no complaints about temperature or sea water and i went early june. there's just 1 or 2 months the temperatures get insane over there and it's not fun anymore... u gotta be able to sleep till 3 otherwise you won't be able to keep staying up till 7 in the morning :rolleyes:  

ehm 42 degrees is too hot, being in the sun is dangerous now over there, people die because of heath :huh:

our selection might be the most expensive in the tournament, but they never play good at international tournaments :hmmm:
there's only 1 solution for is, make Johan Cruyff the coach of the national team, but he'll never take the job

oh and i'd like to see Greece win too, cause i'd be a great surprise and i don't like Portugal because in the semi finals they killed the technical football against us as they went all defence in the second half <_<
