Nah...I wouldn't worry about anything except for the sabotage confession.

I reached that point about two days before you did and I'm now up to 4.6 million.....my goal is to have an SA ranked what it was before I was sabotaged a couple months ago, that is, 569 or so.  The problem is, when I reached that point all I had was 22 excaliburs.  It's rather more difficult at this stage of the game.  I estimate I'll break the 1K point within the week.  I'm up to 1064.

Good luck!  Attacking sprees are tons of fun, and they generate lots of cash.  I'm really rather disappointed that the KOC server hasn't been going down...

:hmmm: Yes, of course, but I pride myself in the fact that once I decide to start building DA I can quickly jump from 28K to 4-5K.

Though I have noticed a dangerous trend lately:  more people are really upping their SAs.
Then again, that means that they're decelerating their DA upgrades.

Anyhow, maybe I will think a bit about it before I just go and spend 15 attack turns on the next big dwarf.  Thanks for your input, veterans!

I forgot to mention that this particular dude had level 10 covert (12,276,000 gold) but only 10 spies.

But I still fail to understand why people spend 5,080,000 on something they don't use, and spend a quarter of that on something they do use.  It just doesn't make sense to me, UNLESS this person is counting on somebody seeing something like citadel, seeing that he's dwarves, and has lots of men, and deciding they can't attack.  Otherwise...it's either foolishness or another result of bad education systems...

And yes there are an infinite (practically) number of combinations, but surely people would try to play to their strengths?

Dwarves often have large SAs, Elvish armies in general seem to have little covert; Orcs often have large defenses, and Humans seem to be the only ones that really use their racial advantages (though I guess humans really have no choice , unless they must be building a large defense to protect their money, in which case few humans use their racial advantage very well).

What's your guys' experience?  Do any dwarves out there build lots of defense?  Are many elves even close to being unsabbable?  Do your primary targets, orcs, have more defense than offense?  

I'm beginning to think that if I see a large dwarven army with a stronghold or even citadel, I should immediately assume it has no defense (I must admit my highest-ranked farm is only 2,000-odd).

Am I way off?

I just love my TI-83+.  It's a must have for efficiently running my account (second only to luck in acquiring targets).  I don't really like hanging around for too many seconds with 1.3 million sitting in my banks, so I wrote a program for the marvelous little calc that takes into account how many knives I have, how much gold I already have, and spits out whether or not I should upgrade, and if I should, how many exaliburs I should sell.  And after I attacked my farm all I had to do was enter how much gold I had, and poof.  

Anyway, yeah.  After awhile you might as well just forget the idea of upgrading for a looong, loong time.  I have less than 75 Excals now.  I have two siege upgrades left.  If the last one is only worth it when you have 350+...I figure I'll just be buying weapons awhile.

My DA is ranked 101,415.
My CA is ranked 4,303.
My SA is ranked above 1,500 and rising a hundred or more a day.

So, if I were to spend just one day's earnings on DA, my overall rank would probably go up by at least 15,000.

Yeah, my standard farms don't usually give me much more than that.  But I've gotten where I don't attack those farms unless they have quite a bit of money (which becomes much less frequent the longer you farm them), and for new targets when I'm surfing I won't attack until I find somebody with over 400K gold.  I want at least 335,600 gold when the attack is over.

Edit:  Oh my goodness, I just nabbed a fellow with over 2,000,000 :blink:

No, I've decided not to join.   There are too many humans, elves, and dwarves out there who have a lot of money.  <_<  (though I still am having problems finding many really good ones )

Unless you could possibly point my way toward some good orc targets.

Well, we're getting the new database server as I type, so we'll see if that helps any.

I hope it doesn't get rid of the occasional day-long downtime.   I enjoyed taking 3.5 million that night (the only time I'll ever be able to for a long time to come, I'm sure )
