Title: Ok wtf? Post by: Galmort on May 12, 2004, 10:03:56 PM As you may know, I'm stuck with Windows XP. whenever i save pictures into a folder, this weird thumbs file thingy is there. every time. its starting to piss me off! so ....wtf?

Title: Ok wtf? Post by: SS on May 12, 2004, 11:05:30 PM It's a [usually] hidden file that stores thumbnail information so that you can view all the images in a folder at once.

(http://pegasus.rutgers.edu/~gandalf/20040516021543.jpeg) a screenshot of a japanese WinME, but you can understand the important parts... i think the guy was advised by other people to reinstall WinME, or to just buy a new comp... altho my reaction when i first saw it was, how could it report as 0 when obviously something is in the memory and something is keeping the comp running...
