My friend lives in Union City where fireworks are legal (one of the only cities anywhere near here to get fireworks). This year we decided to get more of the mortar type fireworks, and less of the sparklers, and I think no noise makers (they’re too annoying) Happy Fourth, May you have all your hair by the end of the fifth! I didn’t get to light off any fireworks; total bummer! Six of us gathered in Union City (half hour drive for me), played smash brothers, fought over Turtle, then drove to Berkley (another half hour drive, but I wasn’t driving), fought over Turtle, hookah (not me), played card games on the roof (with the hookah), played smash brothers, fought over Turtle, went back to Union City, fought over Turtle, went home. We did get to see some really cool fireworks from the freeway though; all of which where the expensive non-pro stuff. Meh, it’s three in the morning, I guess I’ll go to sleep…I just needed to burn off my extra energy.
