Title: Adaware
Post by: RipperRoo on May 07, 2004, 04:29:40 PM
Anyone had problems with Adaware crashing whilst "Quarantining"

The bar freezes half way across, and then all the buttons stop working... :/

Any ideas?

update it. or dont quarantine-just straight up delete the files.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled the new build, seems to work fine now.

By the way, am I even using this correctly... You finish the scan, click select all, then next, which quaratines them, then you go to quaratines, and delete it?

Not sure. I just keep clicking next and agreeing to everything unless it's obviously wrong.

I do what SS does.
It will sit there quarantined with a link to it on the main menu, just delete it from there.

once its finished detecting, just hit next.next.ok. no need to go to quarantine, that saves the files but prevents them from spreading. otherwise it just deletes em.
