Title: Sleep
Post by: underruler on August 09, 2005, 05:18:28 PM
Yes, I want to sleep.  I'm being an insomniac right now, except I hecka went to sleep, but then I woke up, but then I couldn't/can't go to sleep again.  So now I'm sad.

PS- this thread is for anything relating to sleep (i.e. dreams, drooling, positions, etc.)  Have fun.

I have that trouble, its a pain getting to sleep, then once I wake up, I can never get back to sleep again, sucks.

What kind of "positions", Under?    :paranoid:
I think I’d go for face-to-face, either dominance[/size]
I can go back to sleep, but I'll end up waking up with a headache :(

Hey, mole...you could always fold sheets~covers etc and stick them between your knees so they dont scrape ...or a pillow  :P

I like to curl up (on my side…), but sometimes I wake up askew.  I also like to have a covering, only when it's really hot do I go without.
I’ll also put my arm under my head…but sometimes that hurts :(

"I'm not lazy; I'm just conveniance-oriented."  :D

I like to sleep curled up on one side, my legs together, with my arm underneath the pillow.  However, I wake up with back and neck pains, and a totally limp arm.   LOL  :(

There is something about being a passenger at night… makes me so sleepy.  I always try to stay awake and try to talk to the driver or someone in the car; just so the driver doesn’t get sleepy; the consequences would be…exiting, for a short while at least…(o)_(o) .  Hard/fast/loud music helps keep awake.
Don’t you just hate it when you’re nodding off; in and out of conciseness?  More then a few people have smacked their head on a desk during class.

Mini story!!
Someone in my HS biology class fell asleep during class.  This guy was known for being somewhat mischievous; a “class clown” is a way to describe him I guess.  But anyhow, the teacher was in a good mood that day and wanted to pay him back for whatever he had done to her/ the class recently, so she had the class quietly go outside.  The teacher made him think that he missed the whole class and was going to be late for his next class.  This guy had a little bit more respect for the teacher after that, and even admitted that it was hella funny afterwards.

awesome

a friend of mine fell asleep in german once (you cant blame him) he was always pranking around but the thing was he started snoring so the teacher shouted his name and he nearly fell off his chair followed by the teacher nearly falling off hers laughing

the whole school isn't like that...
class of 803 graduates, ~80% success
school of ~5,000 peeps
we have some very smart people (Teaching Academy, Space Tech, Academy of Electronics), some fucking morons, and a whole shit load of “normal” peeps in between

Lanair: Geek face.

I'm not sleeping tonight.  Too much summer work.  BLAH.  A 500 word research paper seems easy, but it's not as easy as I anticipated.  If it's at night then I don't mind sleeping in someone's car, unless it's like a 15 or 20 minute drive.  If it's like a long trip I don't mind.  Short trips or in the day time it's kind of weird.

Random thought: Wow... in college people sleep a lot.  And it's not even like they get 9 hours at night.  Noooo... I've seen a large portion of the campus take midday naps.  Heh, and I thought naps were for kindergarteners.   LOL

DL and install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm) it uses Media Player Classic. That site's info page. (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm)  I say you check everything but the encoders (unless you use them of course...)
